Q. What do I get with my Tower Aquarium?

A. You get the Tank complete with Hood, Gravel Tray, Gravel, Uplift Tube, Powerhead (Aqua Clear 70), Heater (300 Watt), Foliage and Light Bulb (75 Watt). We set it up, fill it, and ensure it is working - all you need then are the fish.

Q. How soon can I put fish in my Tower Aquarium?

We recommend that you allow the aquarium to settle for approximately seven days before adding any fish. But most importantly you take a sample of water from the aquarium to your local aquatic dealer and have it checked for any chemicals that may need to be neutralised before you begin to introduce new fish.

Q. How many fish will an aquarium hold?

A. This depends very much on the size of the fish:

if your fish are 2 - 3 ins long then approx 20 - 25 however, if they are 5 - 6 ins long then no more than 6 - 8.

Fish will grow so please allow for this. it is advisable to research what fish you are thinking of having, to confirm sizes and also compatability.

Q. Is my Tower Aquarium guaranteed?

A. Yes, all the components, fittings and workmanship is guaranteed to be of the highest quality. A full 12 month guarantee applies to all the parts except the bulb. As anyone knows a bulb can last 10 days or 10 years.

Q. Do I need to reinforce my floor or secure the top to a wall?

A. Not if your floor is basically sound. The design of the base gives incredible stability and most tanks are situated either in a corner of the room or against a wall. In 20 years we have never had one pushed over.

Q. How many power sockets do I need?

A. You only need one outlet, at Tower Aquarium's we have integrated the wiring of the light fitting and sockets for the pump and heater into the hood.

Q. Can I have Delivery only?

A. We prefer wherever possible to do the installation ourselves, and whilst not being disrespectful of anyone's ability to install the aquarium, if we have installed it then we can guarantee the installation as well as the components and workmanship.

Installation takes approximately 45min - 1 hour.

Q. What if I want to move it?

A. The simple answer is to call us. We offer this service, or will advise you on the best way to achieve this.
